After 4 days on the road, we've arrived at my parents' in Virginia. Working out was minimal during the journey, but we are about to box and get the blood flowing. I attempted to run yesterday, but forgot to eat first, and found the hills to be a bit much after running flat Austin landscape. Tomorrow will be a longer run with the hills. It feels good to be out of the car and will feel better to be moving.
The goal during this trip as far as diet and exercise are concerned is to maintain my weight with portion control and to work out every day, though I am not sure I will push as hard as usual. Hopefully people will push me to move so I am not too lazy during this time.
Seeing my sister, who has lost over 200 pounds, is an inspiration, though, and I am sure I will be able to do my work and keep on path.
Good for you, and good for your sister! Proud of you. Don't forget that relaxation aids in weight loss, too. Enjoy a(hopefully) cooler Virginia.
